Found Sketch

I was looking through things in my apartment today and found a forgotten sketch from last year. I found it somewhat visually appealing and interesting, so I thought I'd post it here.

Pulled Pork Sandwiches

Here's an easy recipe for a bachelor that can last you a few meals. I've tried it a few times and it rivals the prize-winning fare of Ottawa's annual rib-fest.

Ingredients:

Pork Shoulder
PC's Blue Menu Chicken & Rib Sauce
Cayenne Pepper
Black Pepper (optional)
Rosemary
Bay leaves
Large Buns

Directions:

Find yourself a cheap pork shoulder.
Rub the surface of it vigorously with a mixture of cayenne and Blue Menu Chicken and Rib Sauce.
Add some fresh ground pepper or even whole peppercorns if you really like a peppery taste to your meat (this is optional).
Cut slits into the meat and stuff some rosemary into the slits.
fill a roasting pan with an inch of water (and maybe some onions).
Throw a bay leaf or two in the water.
Place the pork in the pan and put a lid on it.
Cook at 300 degrees for a few hours.
Cut deep into the meat after that time to see if it is ready.
Cook some more if it's not ready.
When the meat is ready, slice it up and let it cool a bit.
Drain the water.
Pull the meat off the bone into bite-sized strands (nothing so big as to choke you).
Throw the bones and fat and sinewy bits away.
Mix the rest with some Blue Menu Rib and Chicken BBQ sauce (It's the best).
Grab some tongs and fill some buns with the stuff.
You should be able to get about 6 huge sandwiches made.
Wrap them in aluminum foil so you can re-heat the leftover sandwiches in the oven (I don't trust microwaved cellophane).

There you have it. Serve it with some coleslaw and baked beans and a nice fat dill pickle.

Mmmm!

I've made this myself at home and I highly recommend it
Melt some sweetened bakers chocolate in a metal bowl above some boiling water
Bake some crispy bacon in the oven and paper-towel the grease
Dip the bacon in the chocolate and place all the strips on a sheet of waxed paper
Cool and harden in the fridge

It's worth trying!

Stephen's Famous Homestyle Banana Bread

Ingredients:

- 1 ripe banana (sliced)
- some bread

Directions:
Arrange the banana slices atop a slice of bread. Serve.

For a fun alternative to this recipe, spread some peanut butter on the bread before adding the banana slices. You might also want to add some honey for a tasty difference!

Here's What People Have Been Saying About Stephen's Famous Homestyle Banana Bread Recipe:
